New Life Ministries

New Life Ministries (NLM) is the organization we partner with in Uganda. They are the "boots on the ground" of our mission. They live out the day to day operations of all ministries because UTOLM does not have teams in Uganda year round. New Life Ministries was founded in Idudi, Uganda in 2013 by Pastor Andrew Wambi and his wife Abiah Mirembe. They both grew up in the Muslim faith, however are now believers and live to share the good news. 

They founded NLM after they felt God calling them to advance the Kingdom and champion the gospel in the Muslim populated area of Idudi. They first started Bible studies in the homes of non-believers and later evolved into an organized church. While in serving in the church, they saw the plight of children and families in and around Idudi. The Lord gave them wisdom to found New Life Ministries so a Board of Directors were formed and New Life Ministries was incorporated and registered with Ugandan Government. Their goal, like ours, is to improve the lives of children through better education, health care, clean water, economic opportunities, and discipleship.
